You can create recipes from physical sources without typing them out by hand. Foryoueats uses AI to read the image and convert it into a fully structured recipe with named fields for ingredients, steps, and more.

How to import

Open the app

In Foryoueats, click Create Recipe and select Create From Image.

Upload your image

Click Choose file and select a photo from your device, or drag and drop the image into the upload area.

Wait for processing

Foryoueats processes the image with AI and extracts the recipe details. This usually takes a few seconds.

Review the result

Check each field — name, ingredients, and steps — to make sure everything was captured correctly.

Edit and save

Make any corrections in the editor, then click Save to add the recipe to your library.
For best results, photograph the recipe in good lighting and make sure the text is in focus. Avoid shadows across the page.
AI extraction is accurate but not perfect. Always review the ingredients and steps before cooking from an imported recipe, especially quantities and measurements.
